Golden Age Batman Collectors Plate

DC, through the Warner Brothers Studio Gallery, released this limited edition collectors plate in 1997.  This is plate 804 of 2500.  The original Golden Age Batman from 1939 is depicted in the center of the plate, surrounded by representations of Batman from 1945 and 1964 on the left, and 1997, 1987 and 1970 on the right.  The dialogue around the perimeter of the plate is from the first told origin of Batman in Detective Comics 33.  The back of the plate is inscribed with a short history of the Batman.  Needless to say, I won't be eating off of this plate!
